Afghan winters are severe. The shelters most displaced families currently live in - thin walls, no insulation, no security - are designed to be temporary but are being used permanently. A mother putting her children to sleep in a structure that cannot keep the cold out is not a rare case. It is the everyday reality for thousands.
A home is not a luxury. It is safety, privacy, and stability: the foundation a family needs to rebuild life with dignity.
In Afghanistan, many families live in fragile shelters that offer little protection from harsh weather, insecurity, and daily hardship. A permanent home gives a family somewhere safe to sleep, raise children, and worship Allah in peace.
Each SDQAvestment share contributes to building a robust, permanent home for a vulnerable family, a project of Sadaqah Jariyah through every day of protection and every act of worship under its roof, by Allah's mercy.
