A working hospital in a poor district is the difference between a treatable illness and a preventable death. But running one costs money - medicines, salaries, diagnostics. When funding falls short, families who arrive with sick children are turned away. Your share keeps them from being the ones turned away.
Help keep hospital doors open in Pakistan by supporting essential running costs, medicines, and treatment for families who cannot afford care.
In underserved parts of Pakistan, hospitals struggle to stay operational. Limited funding means medicine shortages, overworked staff, and families turned away because they cannot pay.
Your SDQAvestment helps sustain hospital operations by ensuring doctors can treat patients, medicines remain available, and families receive the care they need.
Bilal has not slept in two nights. His daughter Amara, barely three years old, has been burning with fever since Monday. The village clinic ran out of paracetamol weeks ago, and the nearest hospital is an hour away by rickshaw, a fare he cannot afford on a daily labourer's wage. His wife wraps Amara in a damp cloth while Bilal borrows money from a neighbour. They leave before dawn, praying the hospital is still open, still staffed, still able to help.
The hospital is stretched thin. Floodwaters last season damaged the pharmacy store. Supplies arrive late and never in enough quantity. The paediatric ward has two doctors for over sixty patients. Mothers queue from early morning, some holding children too weak to cry. The staff do not complain. They simply keep working, rationing what they have, knowing that each decision about which patient to see next carries weight that no training can fully prepare you for.
Your contribution is what keeps this hospital from going dark. It is the shipment of antibiotics that arrives before the shelf empties. It is the generator fuel that powers the incubators through another night. It is the reason a doctor stays at her post instead of leaving for a private clinic in the city. For Bilal and Amara, it is the difference between a diagnosis and a guess, between treatment and a prayer whispered into silence.
Be the reason Bilal does not have to choose between feeding his family and saving his daughter. Fund care. Stock the shelves. Keep the doctors at their posts. Give a father the answer he travelled through the night to find.

Pakistan
Pakistan's public healthcare system is under significant strain, particularly in rural and flood-affected areas.
Many families cannot afford private treatment and depend on subsidised hospital care as their only option.
Delivery is managed through experienced healthcare partners with established hospital relationships and medical supply chains.
This project also reflects the practical realities of delivering in challenging environments, where access conditions can be restricted. SDQA applies a high baseline access rating where needed to ensure expectations remain grounded and governance remains strong.
Funding Phase
The project moves to implementation once all 100 shares are completed.
Build & Installation
Construction and installation typically take 10-14 weeks following full funding.
Ongoing Oversight
This project is monitored as an amanah, with clear accountability from funding through delivery.
