How your sadaqah reached Sindh

When we opened the Sindh Water Bore Pump appeal, the need was simple to explain. In Kot Diji and the villages around it, clean water is not something families can take for granted. Many walk for it. Many drink what they can find.

You answered. And your sadaqah is now reaching families as clean, safe water they can draw every single day.

Across much of rural Sindh, families rely on distant, shared or unsafe water sources. Women and children carry the heaviest burden, walking long distances in the heat to collect water that is often not clean. Waterborne illness is common. Time that could be spent in school or earning a living is spent fetching water instead.

A water bore pump changes that at the root. By reaching clean groundwater close to where people live, a single bore can serve a whole community for years, turning a daily struggle into something families no longer have to think about.

This project was delivered in Kot Diji, Sindh, Pakistan - locally sourced and locally installed by our field team on the ground. The exact location was recorded and geo-tagged so the build can be verified, not just described.

This is the work. Clean water is one of the most enduring forms of sadaqah jariyah - a charity that keeps giving for as long as people drink from it.

We are grateful you trusted us with this. Insha'Allah the reward continues to flow with every drop.

From the field

The delivery team works quietly. Their job is to get clean water to families, not to gather statements. The photos and videos in the gallery above are the voices. Every working bore is a community that no longer goes without.

When we receive translated feedback from the field, we will add it here.

This is what Sadaqah with Accountability looks like. Every project on SDQA closes this way. Every donor has the right to see the numbers. Every pound is tracked from your hand to a family that needed it.

The barakah of giving water

The Prophet said: “The best charity is giving water to drink.

(Ahmad)

Every time someone drinks from this bore, the reward flows back to you. Allah knows the count.
