Provide a safe, dignified learning environment for children in Sub-Saharan Africa by building a purpose-built classroom designed for long-term, daily use.
Across Sub-Saharan Africa, millions of children attend classes under trees, in makeshift shelters, or in severely overcrowded rooms. Without a proper classroom, learning is disrupted by weather, safety concerns, and a lack of basic resources.
A purpose-built classroom provides the foundation for quality education: a stable, safe space where children can learn, grow, and build a better future.
Samuel walks miles each morning to reach a classroom that is little more than a corrugated metal shed. Rain leaks through the roof; wind whips his lessons across the floor. He loves learning, but every day feels like a battle between his ambition and his environment. His pencils break, his books are damp, his courage wavers under the weight of scarcity.
Now, imagine a safe, permanent classroom. Sunlight floods the room; chairs support every child; the teacher's voice carries clearly to each student. Samuel can focus. He can imagine. He can plan. Every lesson becomes a stepping stone toward a future he dares to hope for: a future where he becomes the engineer who builds bridges, the scientist who discovers cures, the leader who lifts his village.
This classroom becomes more than a place to learn. It is a sanctuary, a second home, a statement that every child matters. The walls hold laughter, curiosity, and determination; the roof shields dreams from the storm; the floor supports a generation poised to rise.
Fund a classroom that stands tall against adversity. Give Samuel dignity, safety, and knowledge. Let him belong. Let him rise. Let him change the world.

Sub-Saharan Africa
Sub-Saharan Africa has the highest rate of education exclusion in the world, with infrastructure being a major barrier.
A purpose-built classroom creates a stable learning environment that serves children for decades.
Delivery is managed through experienced local partners with established education sector relationships.
This project also reflects the practical realities of delivering in challenging environments, where access conditions can be restricted. SDQA applies a high baseline access rating where needed to ensure expectations remain grounded and governance remains strong.
