We've all thought about the good we'd love to leave behind

Perhaps it's water for your grandparents' village, or a masjid in your mother's name. Or maybe you have another idea altogether. If it does lasting good, we'd love to help you build it.

Give in a way that works for you

We start with a free conversation and some initial research on where your project could go. When you're happy, a deposit confirms it: the price, the location and the detailed planning. 30% of the total starts the build, and we agree the rest with you, in full or in stages through the work, interest free and without a lender or late fees. Plenty of brothers and sisters share the cost between them.

Riaz and I are both funding our own projects through SDQA, and I'd love you to join us. You don't need a finished plan. Bring us the idea, and we'll help you understand the options, the costs and what it will take.

You may have been thinking about this for years. Tell me what you have in mind. We'll look into it properly, and I'll talk you through what we think is worth building and why. The decision is yours.

Questions people ask

Do I need to know exactly what I want?

No. A rough idea is enough, or even just a wish to build something useful. We'll help you work out what suits you and where it's needed.

Can my family give together?

Yes. You can split it between you however you like, and we'll keep all of you updated.

What if the cost changes?

We work hard to price every project accurately, and if anything changes you'll hear it from us first. The price you see covers the build, its delivery and reporting, and our own costs. If we can see it'll cost more, we'll tell you up front, and if something unplanned comes up during the build, we'll talk it through with you and agree how to handle it together.

Why is SDQA a Community Interest Company?

We chose to be a CIC deliberately. By law our profits can't be paid out to owners; they go back into the work, under an asset lock that the CIC Regulator checks every year. It also means we answer directly to you rather than to grant cycles and committees, so when a project is ready we can fund it and get on with building it.

We're upfront that your gift covers the project and the cost of delivering it well, and every project is reported back to you. SDQA is registered at Companies House under number 16543744.

The reward of your gift belongs to you and Allah. Our structure has no bearing on that.

What would you like to create?

Say Bismillah, and we'll take it from there together.
