Progress
Build a masjid in Afghanistan and secure ongoing reward through every salah, every Qur'an recitation, and every act of worship that takes place inside it, by Allah's mercy.
In many parts of Afghanistan, communities live with limited infrastructure and few safe, dedicated spaces for worship and Islamic learning. A completed masjid becomes a source of stability: a place where faith is protected, children learn the Qur'an, and the community gathers in obedience to Allah.
By supporting the house of Allah, you are investing in Sadaqah Jariyah, reward that continues even after you have returned to Allah.
Imagine a village like this. The last light of day catches the snow on distant peaks as a father spreads a threadbare sheet over the stony ground. His two sons and young daughter kneel beside him, the cold biting through their thin clothes. There is no masjid in this valley, only the memory of one, destroyed years ago and never rebuilt. He recites Al-Fatiha from memory, the same words his own father taught him in a small mud room that no longer stands. Every prayer is a quiet act of defiance, a refusal to let the thread of faith break.
Across the village, life carries on without a centre. Nikah ceremonies are held in doorways; Eid prayers are offered on a stony hillside; the elders share what they remember of the Quran with children who have never held a mushaf. When it rains, the congregation scatters. When winter comes, it stops altogether. The community is not losing its faith, but it is losing the places where faith is passed on.
Now imagine a different scene. Solid walls rise from the valley floor, a minaret catches the morning sun. His children sit cross-legged in a warm room, learning to read the Quran properly for the first time. The adhan rings out five times a day, drawing the village together. This masjid is not just a building. It is a lifeline. A place where knowledge is preserved, where families gather in joy and hardship alike, where the community finally has a home for its heart.
Lay a stone in a valley that has waited years. Build a house of Allah where faith can take root again, and know that every prayer, every ayah, every gathering within its walls returns to you as reward, bi'ithnillah.

Afghanistan
In Afghanistan, many communities face constraints that make stable faith spaces even more valuable. A local masjid becomes a foundation for daily worship and a place where Islamic learning can continue with dignity.
Delivery is managed through experienced local partners with practical oversight and community involvement to support long-term use.
This project is treated as an amanah, with disciplined delivery standards and clear accountability.
This project also reflects the practical realities of delivering in challenging environments, where access conditions can be restricted. SDQA applies a high baseline access rating where needed to ensure expectations remain grounded and governance remains strong.
Funding Phase
The project moves to implementation once all 100 shares are completed.
